Fruit Pavlova

You Will Need:


  • 5 egg whites
  • Caster Sugar
  • Tin or chopped fruit
  • Whipped cream
  • Flake to sprinkle over top
Method:  
                                                                                                                                                                       1.  Pre-heat the oven to 1400C
   2.Separate the eggs and the egg whites.
   3. Mix the egg whites and sugar for about 15 mins.
   4. While they are mixing place parchment/baking paper over an oven proof tray. I like to use butter on the back to keep the paper down.
   5. When the 15 mins are done the mixture should be stiff. Place the mixture onto the              parchment/baking paper and place in the oven for 45 minutes.
   6. While baking in the oven chop, wash and strain your fruit & whip the cream. Make sure that you don't whip the cream for too long.
   7. When the mixture is baked leave it on a tray to cool to room temperature.
   8. Remove the baking paper and decorate the top with cream, then fruit and the flake on top.
