You Will Need:
Filling: Pastry:
150g Pre cut rashers 5 oz margarine
1 whole onion 8 oz flour
1 bag of grated cheese
3 eggs
1/4 pint of Milk
Method:
Pastry:
In a big bowl put in margarine and flour together and rub it with your hands into fine breadcrumbs. Now add a small bit of water if you put in too much you can add a small bit of flour. Wrap it in clingfilm & refrigerate for 1/2 - 1 hour.
Filling:
In a pan spread oil and fry the rashers. When the rashers are cooked add in the onions and cook until soft. Roll out the pastry and put it on the quiche dish. Remove the rashers & onion and put it on the pastry. Beat the eggs & milk together and season & pour over the rashers and onion. Now you need to add the bag of cheese and spread all over the top. Place it in the oven for 40 minutes at 1800 until it is golden brown.
